Dr. Elfersi graduated magna cum laude with a Master of Science (MS) before completing her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at USC. During her academic years, she was recognized for her outstanding achievements. Dr. Elfersi received the AAO Award for exceptional interest in the development of the orofacial complex. Following her passion for orthodontics, she completed her 3-year orthodontics residency at New York University (NYU). Dr. Elfersi is a clinical instructor and faculty member in the USC orthodontics department. While teaching future orthodontists, she stays up to date with the latest orthodontics research and methods. Dr. Tali Elfersi has been fortunate to come to the United States at age 5. She is grateful for the opportunity she had to grow up in California.
Beyond caring for her patients, Dr. Elfersi has demonstrated an early commitment to social justice. While a student, she already participated in a dental mission to the Amazon in Bolivia. Closer to home, she also trains students and parents in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles schools.
Orthodontics enables Dr. Elfersi to change the life of many and to engage her community. She speaks Hebrew and French fluently. Away from the office, Dr. Elfersi enjoys the beautiful southern California outdoors. She also loves spending time with her husband and their three children.
